Showfa Drivers

Showfa Drivers was a private-hire/taxi driver app built for drivers to register, submit compliance documents, get approved, receive assigned jobs, bid on marketplace jobs, track earnings, manage vehicles, and contact support.

The app supported the operational side of a driver network, including onboarding, compliance, job alerts, GPS tracking, marketplace jobs, and driver support tools. The app was developed earlier and is no longer listed on the App Store.

I was the sole iOS developer on Showfa Drivers, responsible for the full app across onboarding, document collection, job flows, location tracking, marketplace bidding, earnings views, and support-related screens. My role covered implementation, UI development, API integration, testing, and shipping production-ready driver workflows.

The app required building practical, operations-heavy features for drivers who needed to manage work, documents, approvals, and jobs from one place.

The app had many operational workflows that depended on driver status, document status, meeting approval, network availability, location permissions, and backend responses. A major challenge was keeping the app flow controlled so drivers only reached the correct screens after completing required steps.

Another challenge was handling real-time driver operations such as push-notification-driven job alerts, continuous location updates, marketplace bidding, and job-specific edge cases like airport jobs and no-show workflows.

Showfa Drivers gave me strong hands-on experience with real-world SwiftUI app development, location-based workflows, Firebase push notifications, backend-driven state, document upload flows, and operational product logic. It also taught me how important clear status handling is in apps where users depend on the app for work.
